What Appears in the Feed
The activity feed shows all content that teachers have posted for your child, arranged in reverse chronological order — the newest updates appear at the top. Each entry includes the teacher’s name, the time of posting, and the type of activity.Photos
Teachers capture moments throughout the day — art projects, outdoor play, group activities, and quiet reading time. Each photo post can include a caption describing what was happening.
Videos
Short video clips give you a richer sense of your child’s energy and engagement. Videos play directly in the app without needing an external player.
Text Notes
Teachers can post written observations about your child’s mood, behaviour, learning moments, or anything else worth sharing, even when there isn’t a photo or video to accompany it.
Teacher privacy is protected at all times. The activity feed shows the teacher’s display name but never their personal phone number or email address. All interaction happens within the app.
The Daily Activity Report
Beyond individual posts, Fleedu gives teachers the tools to compile a Daily Activity Report — a structured summary of your child’s entire day. This report is typically published in the late afternoon or at the end of the school day and includes consolidated information such as:- Meals: What your child ate and how much
- Rest: Nap times and sleep quality
- Mood: How your child was feeling throughout the day
- Activities: A brief narrative of the main learning activities
- Teacher notes: Any observations or reminders for parents
Push Notifications
You don’t need to keep the app open to stay in the loop. Fleedu sends you a push notification each time a teacher posts a new activity for your child. Tapping the notification takes you directly to that post in the feed.Managing your notification settings
Managing your notification settings
To adjust how and when you receive notifications:
- Open the Fleedu app and tap the Profile icon in the bottom navigation bar.
- Select Notification Settings.
- Toggle individual notification types on or off — for example, you may want to keep activity notifications on but turn off reminders during working hours.
- You can also set Quiet Hours so notifications are held and delivered in a batch at a time that suits you, such as during your lunch break or after work.
Viewed Indicators
When you open and view an activity post, Fleedu records that you’ve seen it. Teachers can check a Total Viewed count on each post, which shows how many of the linked family members have opened it. This helps teachers understand whether their updates are reaching parents effectively. The viewed count is a number only — teachers cannot see which specific family member viewed a post, only the total count of views from all linked accounts for that child.
Commenting on Activities
The activity feed is a two-way channel, not just a broadcast. You can leave a comment on any activity post, and the teacher can reply. This makes it easy to ask a quick follow-up question, share how your child talked about the activity at home, or simply let the teacher know the photo made your day. To leave a comment:- Tap on any activity post to open the full view.
- Scroll to the bottom of the post to find the Comments section.
- Tap the comment field, type your message, and tap Send.
- Your comment appears immediately. The teacher will be notified and can reply from the school-side dashboard or the teacher app.
Comments are visible only to the teacher who posted the activity and to family members who have been granted access to your child’s feed. They are not visible to other parents or other classes.
Switching Between Multiple Children
If you have more than one child enrolled in a Fleedu school, all of them appear under your single parent account. The activity feed always shows posts for the currently selected child. To switch children:- Tap your child’s name or avatar at the top of the home screen.
- A dropdown or carousel will appear listing all your enrolled children.
- Select the child whose feed you want to view. The feed refreshes immediately to show that child’s activities.
